Financial Information

Buddhist Global Relief (BGR) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.  Gifts are deductible to the full extent allowable under IRS regulations.

IRS Determination Letter A letter from the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) granting BGR status as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit and tax-exempt organization.
IRS Form 990 Form 990 is an annual reporting return that tax-exempt organizations such as BGR must file with the IRS. It provides information on BGR’s mission, programs and finances. BGR's fiscal year ends on June 30th.
Financial Statements Reports by an independent auditing firm concerning the accuracy of the financial information and status of BGR.

Efficiency and Results

Since BGR is an all-volunteer organization, our overhead is minimal.  We rely on the generosity of our supporters not only for donations toward projects but also in-kind services.
